VST Live as a guitar rig - Steinberg Forums
The live rig is an X18 console, and a Macbook Pro M1Pro with 32Gb of Ram. For rehearsals and project building we use an RME Fireface and a Mac Studio M1 Max. Each vst Live project has individual inputs and outputs routed for bass, guitar, backing tracks, and Click (we prefer to use the click rendered on an audio track). Live monitoring is handled from the X18. 1 Like Shiroryu January 2, 2025 ...

Nice acoustic guitar sound - help wanted - Steinberg Forums
Hi all, I´m struggling with my guitar sound, dont really seem to get it right. In this case, a steel string acoustic guitar. And yes, I understand that what goes in is first priority (playing style, mic etc and I do my best to try to get that right). In any case, I am after a clean and crisp sound with not to much sound from the pick or from the left hand fingers sliding on the neck when ...

How to enable Guitar/Bass tab - Dorico - Steinberg Forums
Dorico wizards, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to enable Tabs for guitar and bass in my projects. I’ve watched several YT tutorials, but I must be doing something wrong, because it’s not happening for me. I’ve attached an example project (all my projects have the same instruments/settings and start with the same blank template project file) Ik vind je lekkah.dorico (1.9 MB)

Here's why Flat Sawn wood is the best choice for guitar neck, contrary ...
And if the guitar wood is not dried properly, the cut of it doesn't matter anyway as it is an inferior material for the job. Now, there is a different type of stability that matters in guitar necks, and usually not in wood working or furniture making. That is stability and predictability of movement due to and under string tension.

Best acoustic guitar volume booster - Steinberg Forums
I’m trying to get more volume from my acoustic guitar into Cubase. I have various pedals that don’t do what I require. What do you use to amplify your acoustic signal between the microphone and the audio interface? I’m using an AT 2031 Mike

Separation of lead guitar track? - Steinberg Forums
So, I tried out the demo version. Unfortunately, it just came up with the same issue as others I’ve tried, and that is that it can’t separate a lead guitar track from the other guitars. So, for example, if I do Unmix Song on a Shadows track, i.e. lead, rythym, bass guitars and drums, the lead is mixed with the rythym on the separation and only leaves the bass and drums when this is muted ...

Guitar: adding a capo in the middle of a piece & guitar chord symbols ...
I would like to know how to give a player the instruction to add a capo (or move the capo) in the middle of a piece of music. Currently, I am doing the following: Have one player with two instruments, Guitar (guitar in standard tuning, no capo) and Capo 1 (guitar in standard tuning, full capo on fret 1). I chose those names so that the score contains “Capo 1” as a direction. In galley view ...
